Report: Gazprom Neft sees 2018 Badra output at 85,000–90,000 bpd
MOSCOW, Oct 16 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Gazprom Neft expects daily oil output at the Badra field in Iraq at 85,000–90,000 barrels in 2018, Reuters reported on Monday citing Deputy CEO Vadim Yakovlev.
“Gazprom Neft produces oil at Iraqi’s Badra field. It expects production there to stay between 85,000 and 90,000 bpd (barrels per day) in 2018, plateauing as high as 110,000 bpd in the future,” Reuters reported quoting Yakovlev as saying.
The company sees the maximum production plateau at the field at 110,000 barrels per day, but the time of reaching the level depends on the Iraqi authorities. The company is currently continuing consultations with the government on conditions for further operations, Yakovlev told Reuters.
